1st Community has discontinued
funding new Student or Parent Loans through the Federal Student Loan
Program.
We will complete our commitment for funding loans for the 2009-2010
school year - by this we mean if we funded a loan for the Fall
Semester we will fund a loan for the Spring Semester. Recent
changes in the student loan program have made it difficult for us to
continue offering this service.
We regret that we had to make this decision and we want you to know
that we can still provide private loans for education, however, the
loan payments will not be able to be deferred as they are with the
Federal Student Loan. |
